Hi, lovely! Firstly, you’re beautiful, yes, truly. And secondly, please know that you deserve to love yourself. You deserve happiness. You deserve to realise that you’re priceless. You deserve everything good in this world, and you will eventually believe it. Trust me; time is your friend. You can and will bloom into the best version of yourself.

1: REALISE THAT YOU’RE UNIQUE
Taylor Swift really meant it when she said that “you’re the only one of you!” and it definitely is the “fun of you”.
There is nobody else like you on this amazing planet. Nobody that has a dance playlist unique to yours, nobody who knows your cat as well as you, and nobody who looks exactly like you.
Use this to empower yourself.
Nobody has your beautiful jawline or eyes the exact gorgeous shades as you. Nobody has a voice as sunny as yours, or the same tattoos as you. Nobody can ever be you, except you.
I find that us being all unique makes everyone beautiful. You can live in a world where you’re always fascinated by the wonderful people that you meet.

2: KNOW WHAT MAKES YOU SPECIAL
So, whether you believe it yet or not, you have your talents. You have your skills. You have your good traits and things that make you lovable. Without further ado, let’s think about them
Ask yourself the following:
What’s my favourite hobby?
Is being good at a hobby a requirement? No! As long as you’re enjoying yourself, it’s automatically good, because you’re putting your soul into what you’re doing, and that’s beautiful.
What are my defining physical features?
Then, if you’d like to, think about how you can enhance them. You deserve to have your beauty stand out.
What compliments have I received?
If you want, you can make a list and put it on your wall, or make it your lock screen. When you’re feeling down, you can refer back to something positivethat will encourage you.
3: LEARN TO BE POSITIVE, AND BE KIND TO YOURSELF
You’re human. Everything bad is temporary. Believe me when I say that it’s not worth dwelling! Don’t use this point as something to dwell on and think ‘but I’m just wasting my time doing something that’s pointless, then’. Instead, forgive yourself. It’s okay. Forgive yourself for everything, because who you were in the past isn’t who you are now. And especially, who you were before you read this article isn’t who you are now. You’ve grown spiritually, and you will continue to do so. I’m proud of you.
Be gentle with yourself and know that the last thing to grow on a tree is the fruit.
You are contributing and will contribute so much more goodness to your life, and the lives of others. You make peoples’ individual worlds spin a little smoother. I hope that yours does too. Because you deserve it.
